SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That the said board of
directors shall set apart a portion of the grounds under their
control for the purpose of free burial, and no charge shall be
made for burial therein, but the board may designate the
place of which anybody shall be interred ; in case the pur-
chasers of any burial lot shall neglect or refuse to pay for the
same within one year, from the date of purchase, the said
board may at any time thereafter remove any bodies therein
to a place of tree burial, and may then sell the said lot as
hereinbefore provided.

CHAP. 546.

SEC. 12. And be it further enacted, That the said board of
directors shall have power to contract with the legal repre-
sentatives of any burial grounds, and may take such burial
grounds under its care and management, and when such
burial grounds have been thus conveyed to their care, the said
burial grounds are to be held the same in all respects as their
own, under its jurisdiction.

SEC. 13. And be it further enacted, That any regular
ordained minister of any church or sect shall have the right
to conduct funeral service according to the customs of his or
her church, upon the burial grounds herein described.

SEC. 14:. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer of
said board of directors shall be required to give bond twice
the amount of funds in his possession ; said bond to be
approved by the board of directors. That the treasurer shall
receive a salary of one dollar per annum for his services.

CHAPTER 547.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Myersville and Catoctin
Railway Company, a corporation duly incorporated under the
provisions of Article 23 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, to grant certain additional powers
thereto and to authorize the issuance of bonds, and to con-
firm the bonds and mortgage heretofore issued and executed
by said company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That in addition to the powers and rights con-
ferred upon the Myersville and Catoctin Railway Company
under the General Laws of this State authorizing the forma-
tion of railroad or railway companies, the said Myersville and
Catoctin Railway Company is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to extend its lines of railway from the present terminus
