Elk river, near Hylands, Bayview and Port Deposit, and also
may have power to generate electricity and sell or lease the
same for illuminating purposes, power and for all other pur-
poses to which electricity or magnetism may be applied, and
f or other disposition of the same in said Cecil county ; provided,
that authority to enter or pass through any county, city or
municipality must first be had and obtained from the County
Commissioners and from the proper officers of such cities or
municipalities.

CHAP. 613.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the said company be and is
hereby authorized, in order to construct said railway on such
land or property of any individual or corporation, or on such
private right of any corporation or individual as it may be
necessary to occupy in order to construct said railway between
the points authorized by this Act, and where the consent of
the owners of such ground or property cannot be obtained,
they may obtain the same by condemnation in the same man-
ner as is provided in section 167 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public General Laws.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That it shall be lawful for
said company to issue its bonds or obligations in sums of not
less than five hundred dollars each, and payable with interest
at such time or times as the president and directors of said
company may appoint, and to sell and dispose of the same and
to provide for the security and payment of the same by mort-
gage or otherwise, and also that it shall and may be lawful for
the said company to issue certificates of stock, and to apply
the same, if they shall find it expedient to do so, in payment
of the expenses of the construction and equipment of said road
or other liabilities of said company.

Bonds maybe
issued, etc.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Assembly of 1900, entitled an Act to provide Additional
Revenues for the Special Fund of the Board of Police Com-
missioners of the City of Baltimore, to be derived from the
