Appropria-
tion for
schools and
charitable
institutions.

67. To St. John's College, Annapolis, the sum of five thou-
sand dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and three,
together with the further sum of fifteen thousand dollars for
buildings, and the further sum of five thousand dollars for
repairs ; and the sum of five thousand dollars for the fiscal
year nineteen hundred and four.
68. To the Anne Arundel County Academy, the sum of
twenty-four hundred dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hun-
dred and three, and the like sum of twenty-four hundred
dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and four.
69. To the Frostburg Normal School No. 2, the sum of
five thousand dollars for maintenance, and five thousand dollars
for equipment, for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and three,
and the sum of five thousand dollars for maintenance for the
fiscal year nineteen hundred and four.
70. To the State Board of Health, for salary of medical
assistant, the sum of one thousand dollars for the fiscal year
nineteen hundred and three, and the like sum of one thousand
dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and four.
71. To the Locust Point Social Settlement, the sum of five
hundred dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and
three, and the like sum of five hundred dollars for 'the fiscal
year nineteen hundred and four.
72. To the Maccabeans of Baltimore City, the sum of two
hundred and fifty dollars for the fiscal year nineteen hundred
and three, and the like sum of two hundred and fifty dollars
for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and four.
73. To the Commissioners for the Promotion of Uniformity
of Legislation, the sum of five hundred dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary.
74. To the Board of Commissioners hereby authorized to be
appointed by the Governor on behalf of the State of Mary-
land to the St. Louis Exposition, the sum of twenty-five thou-
sand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.
76. To Benjamin G. Stonestreet, J. Benjamin Mattingly
and Samuel C. Padgett of La Plata, Maryland, who are
hereby constituted trustees for this purpose, for the use of the
Maryland and Normal and Preparatory School at La Plata,
Charles county, on such terms and conditions as to provisions
for scholarships or other arragements for the benefit of students
