and if the offender shall fail to pay the fine and costs, he or
they shall be committed to the jail of Frederick county, for
every offence, for not less than five days nor more than thirty
days.

CHAP. 470.

SEC. 4. That any one who has been adjudged guilty of a
violation of this Act by a justice of the peace aforesaid, has a
right of appeal from said judgment to the Circuit Court for
Frederick county, but sentence to jail shall not be stayed
unless he or she shall give bond to the State of Maryland in
the penalty of fifty ($50) dollars, conditioned to prosecute said
appeal with effect at the next term of said Court, which bond
shall be liable for said fine and all costs of the prosecution to
that amount.

CHAPTER 471.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Dor-
chester County, in the State of Maryland, in their dis-
cretion, to construct a bridge across Cabin Creek, of said
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Dorchester
county be and they are hereby authorized, in their discretion,
to construct a bridge across Cabin creek, at the town of Cabin
Creek, in Dorchester county, in the State of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester county, be and they are hereby author-
ized, in their discretion, to issue bonds to an amount necessary
to pay the cost of erecting said bridge.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 472.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 65
of Article one of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, entitled "Allegany County," sub-title "Cumberland,"
as the same was repealed and re-enacted by the Acts of
1892, Chapter fifty-six of the General Assembly of Mary-
land.
