thereof as may be necessary ; for printing sample ballots and
so forth, one thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, to be expended under the direction of the Governor ;
for printing the report of the State Board of Education, one
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ; for
the expenses of the Secretary of the Lunacy Commission, fif-
teen hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ;
to the Maryland State Firemen's Association, the sum of two
hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be
used in accordance with chapter fifty-seven of the Acts of
eighteen hundred and ninety-six ; to the Bureau of Immigra-
tion, the sum of ten thousand dollars, to be used in accordance
with chapter two hundred and ninety-five of the Acts of eigh-
teen hundred and ninety-six, and chapter two hundred and
eighty-two of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety-eight ;
to the Board of State Aid and Charities, the sum of two thou-
sand dollars, to be used in accordance with chapter 679 of the
Acts of nineteen hundred ; .for repairs to Executive Mansion,
the sum of five thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary.

PUBLIC DEBT.

Public debt.

For the payment of the interest on the public debt of the
State, two hundred and eighteen thousand dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary.

Treasurer
shall
disburse.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the State,
on warrant of the Comptroller, shall disburse the said sum or
sums of money herein appropriated for the objects and pur-
poses herein specified, to or upon the order of the person or
persons, or body politic or corporate, entitled to receive the
same.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and after the first day of October, nineteen hundred and
three.

CHAPTER 422.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 172
of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Somerset County," sub-title "Oysters," as amended by Act
of 1900, Chapter 472.

Repeal
and re-enact

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 172 of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-title
"Oysters," as amended by the Act of 1900, Chapter 472, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-,
ments, so as to read as follows, to wit :
