Appeals, for recording the laws of the General Assembly of
nineteen hundred and four, four hundred and fifty dollars.

CHAP. 421

To the members of the Appeal Tax Court of Baltimore city,
for making out the list of the holders of Baltimore city stock,
fifty dollars each, one hundred and fifty dollars ; to the
Register of Baltimore city, for collecting the State tax on
Baltimore city stock, three hundred dollars; for printing the
report of the State Tax Commissioner, four hundred dollars,
or so much thereof as may be necessary ; for the postage for
the Executive Department, Land Office, Treasury Depart-
ment, Secretary of the Senate and Chief Clerk of the House
of Delegates, twelve hundred and fifty dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary ; for fuel and lights of the public
buildings and grounds to be expended under the direction and
control of the Governor, seven thousand and five hundred dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ; to the twenty-
six newspapers in which shall be published the defaulters
to the State previous to the general election in Novem-
ber, nineteen hundred and three, to be distributed by the
Comptroller upon bills rendered, one thousand dollars,
or so much thereof as may he necessary ; for the purpose of
fitting the Senate Chamber and Hall of the House of Dele-
gates and so forth, for the meeting of the General Assembly
of nineteen hundred and four, and for incidental repairs to
the public buildings during the recess of the Legislature, two
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to
be expended under the direction and control of the Governor;
for the salary of an additional fireman, the sum of six hun-
dred dollars per annum ; for salary of stenographer and type-
writer for the Treasury Department, six hundred dollars per
annum ; for salaries and expenses of veterinary inspectors,
and for appraised value of auimals or buildings destroyed to
prevent the spread of infectious or contagious diseases among
live stock, ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, to be paid upon vouchers exhibited; to the Comp-
troller of the Treasury for printing his annual report, one
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ;
for clerical services rendered State Bpard of Appeals, three
hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ; to
the Mayor of the City of Annapolis for use of the fire
department of said city, one hundred and fifty dollars; for
the support of insane convicts, as provided by chapter one
hundred and twenty-three of the Acts of eighteen hundred
and ninety, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars, or so much
