all property not heretofore assessed, and value and assess the
same, and make a proper return thereof to the County Com-
missioners aforesaid, on or before the first Tuesday of December
in each and every year. And said assessors shall receive a fee
of one dollar for each piece of property not on the assessment
books, found and reported by them, as aforesaid, and approved
by said County Commissioners, but no piece of property of
less value than one hundred dollars shall be reported or
assessed.

CHAP. 411.

Section 92s. And be it further enacted, That Augustine T.
Brooke, of Prince George's county aforesaid, shall be the
transfer clerk and auditor for Prince George's county until
the election of his successor in the month of March, 1903, by
the County Commissioners of Prince George's county, as
hereinbefore provided, and he shall discharge the duties and
have the rights conferred and mentioned in section 92 of this
Act. And in case of his death, resignation or inability to dis-
charge the duties of his office, the County Commissioners
aforesaid shall appoint his successor to till out his unexpired
term.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts
of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act of Assem-
bly are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from, the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 412.

AN ACT to create a Co-operative Insurance Fund, to be
maintained by Coal and Clay Miners and their Employer
in Allegany and Garrett Counties, and to add four new Sec-
tions to Article No. 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Allegany County," under the sub-title Coal and Clay
Miners and Employers' Co-operative Insurance and Liability,
and, in like manner, to add four new Sections to Article
No. 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Garrett
County," under the sub-title Coal and Clay-Miners and
Employers' Co-operative Insurance and Liability.

WHEREAS, Experience has shown that in certain perilous
occupations follows in Allegany and Garrett counties, in the
State of Maryland, by its workmen and artisans a great
number of fatal accidents annually occur, so that the
