without a license as herein provided, such officer or agent
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 19 c. If any person or any club, association or
corporation or officer or agent thereof, without first obtaining
a license as provided in this Act, shall give, barter, furnish or
dispense any wine, ale, beer or intoxicating liquor to any
person upon any grounds or premises in Baltimore county, to

which grounds or premises a price of admission is charged, as
an inducement for paying such admission, such person so
fiving, bartering, furnishing or dispensing such wine, ale or
eer or liquor, or any such agent or officer so doing, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall
be fined not more than one thousand dollars or be imprisoned
in jail or the house of correction for not more than one year,
or both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion of the Court.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CFIAPTER 44.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Charles
County to issue bonds for the purpose of refunding the
present bonded indebtedness of said county accruing under
any and all Acts of Assembly now in force, with the excep-
tion of bonds authorized by Chapter 546 of the Acts of 1891,
known as "Court House Bonds," and to levy and collect the
necessary taxes for the payment of said bonds and interest
thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Charles county
be and they are hereby authorized to issue bonds in sums not
less than five hundred nor more than one thousand dollars
each, to be signed by the president of the said Board of
County Commissioners and countersigned by the clerk of said
board, not to exceed in the aggregate seventeen thousand
dollars, and bearing a rate of interest not to exceed four per
centum per annum ; said bonds hereby authorized to be issued
to bear interest, payable semi-annually, on the first day of
January and the first day of July in each and every year, at a
rate of interest not exceeding four per centum per annum,
according to the tenor of the coupons to be attached thereto :
the said bonds to be exempt from all taxation, and the coupons
thereon, when due, to be receivable by the collector of taxes
of said county in payment of county taxes.
