CHAPTER 392.
AN ACT to empower, authorize and direct the County Com-
missioners of Charles County to levy at their next levy lay-
ing a sum of money to the use of Charles M. Berry, paid by
the said Charles M. Berry into the County Treasury of
Charles County in error.

CHAP. 392.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Charles ,
County be and they are hereby empowered, authorized and
directed to levy at the next levy laying the sum of eight dollars
and fifty-two cents to the use of Charles M. Berry, paid by the
said Charles M. Berry into the treasury of Charles county in
error.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 8, 1902.

CHAPTER 393.
AN ACT to amend Section one (1) of Chapter two hundred
and eleven (211) of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the January Session, in the year 1900,
entitled "An Act to incorporate the United Real Estate
Company of Baltimore," by adding thereto at .the end
thereof and elsewhere.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section one of chapter two hundred and
eleven of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January Session in the year nineteen hundred,
entitled "An Act to incorporate the United Real Estate Com-
pany of Baltimore," be and the same is hereby amended so
that the last clause thereof be and the same is hereby changed
to read as follows : "And for that purpose shall have the right
to establish and maintain branch offices or places of business
in the city of Baltimore and elsewhere."
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved April 8, 1902.
