CHAP. 387.

Separate
account kept.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the School Examiner shall
keep a separate account of the money collected each year by
him for, and applied toward, the payment of the interest and
deposited to meet the principal of said bonds at maturity, and
no part thereof shall be chargeable with insolvencies allowed
the treasurer on account of failure of assessments or collec-
tions.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the money arising from,
the sale of said bonds, as provided in this Act, shall be paid to
the School Examiner of eaid county, who shall keep in a book
for that purpose a registry of the bonds and the names of the
purchaser or purchasers and the amount or amounts realized,
and the payment of the semi-annual interest on the said bonds
and the date of redemption and cancellation of the principal
thereof.

How funds
shall
be applied.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That the f und realized from the
sale of said bonds shall be applied to the purposes set forth in
this Act, and to no other purpose,, and shall be paid out by
the School Examiner upon the order of the. said build-
ing and improvement commission, from a warrant book
especially authorized by said commission, with said war-
rants numbered consecutively ; and the said commission, is
hereby authorized and directed to pay the contractor or con-
tractors employed by said commission in. accordance with the
terms of their said contract upon the warrant of said com-
mission, such sum or sums of money as shall be certified in
such warrants that such contractor or contractors are entitled
ro in the performance of the contract, and shall pay upon the
warrant of said commission the cost of plan and specifica-
tions of the work proposed to be done, and such other
expenses as said commission may properly have incurred in
the discharge of its duty ; and no part of said proceeds, of
sale of said bonds shall be paid out by said School Examiner
except on the warrant of said commission authorized by this
Act.
SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claim of
George B. Flynn, far services rendered as Sergeant-at-Arms
of the House of Delegates at the Session of the General
Assembly of Maryland, nineteen hundred.
