CHAP. 371.

tion as may be required to pay or redeem said bonds beginning
with the levy of nineteen hundred and eleven until all said
bonds shall have been paid.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That beginning with the year 1911
each member of the board of County Commissioners of Kent
county shall be subject to a fine of not less than $100 and
not more than $200, who shall fail to vote to provide by levy
for the payment each year of the proportion of bonds as
herein directed to be paid each year ; said fine to be inflicted
by any Court or justice of the peace before whom any such
member of said board shall be convicted of the dereliction of
duty herein prescribed.
SEO 5. And be it enacted, That the proceeds of the sale of

said bonds shall be applied to the payment of the indebted-
ness of said county growing out of the issue of bonds under
chapter 252, Acts of 1884, commonly known as Jail Bonds,
and chapter 85, Acts of 1890, commonly known as Bridge
Bonds, which issue of bonds shall be paid off and cancelled as
the same mature ; all bonds remaining in the hands of said
board of County Commissioners and not immediately expended
for the purpose for which the bonds hereby authorized are
issued, shall be deposited in some bank in Chestertown at the
highest obtainable rate of interest, subject to be drawn and
applied to the payment of the bonds above mentioned as the
same hereafter mature.

Repeal.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That all local laws and parts of
local laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 372.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
148 and 161 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "East New
Market."

Repeal
and re-enact.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 148 and section 161 of Article 10 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County,"
sub-title "East New .Market," be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as
