CHAP. 354.

day of July unless said collector shall show a good and suffi-
cient reason for a postponement of such action, but such post-
ponement shall not be for a longer period than one term of
said Court.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 354.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
100 to 103, both inclusive, of Article 19. of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "St. Mary's County," sub-title
"Roads," and Chapter 564 of the Acts of 1894, which
amended and added new Sections to said title and sub-title,
and Chapter 93 of the Acts of 1896, and Chapter 153 of the
Acts of 1898, to re-enact with amendments Sections under
said title and sub-title, to be known as Sections 100 to 103r
both inclusive, and to add new Sections thereto, to be known
respectively as Sections 103 A to 103 F, both inclusive, of
said Article and sub-title.

Repeal
and re-enact

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 100 to 103, both inclusive, of
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "St. Mary's
"County," sub-titje "Roads," and chapter 564 of the Acts of
1894, which amended and added new sections to said title and
sub-title, and chapter 93 of the Acts of 1896, and chapter 153
of the Acts of 1898, which amended sections 100 of said title
and sub-title, be and the same are hereby respectively repealed
and re-enacted with amendments, and that certain additional
sections be and the same are hereby added to said title and
sub-title, to be known respectively as sections 100 to 103, both
inclusive, and 103 A to 103 F, both inclusive, of gaid Article
and sub-title, and to read as follows :

first meeting in April, nineteen hundred and two, and biennially
thereafter, at their first meeting in April, or whenever a vacancy
shall occur, shall appoint in every election district and precinct
of the county a road inspector, who shall be a physician
engaged in the active practice of his profession in the district
or precinct for which he shall be appointed, except in case
no such person resides in the district or precinct, or in
case none would accept, the said commissioners shall then
