order and direct, ordering such surveyor to correct such
certificate ; and a corrected certificate shall be returned to the
Land Office within two months from the date of such order ;
provided, however, that the commissioners may for good
cause shown, extend the time for the return of the corrected
certificates.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 271.

AN ACT to add a new Section to Article 23 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title "Pro
visions for the Formation of Corporations," to come in
after Section 19 A, and to be called Section 19 B.

New section
added.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following new section be and the same is
hereby added to Article 23 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title " Corporations," sub-title " Provisions for the
Formation of Corporations," to come in after section 19 A
and to be called section 19 B, and to read as follows :

Power
to furnish
refrigeration.

19s. Corporations formed under the preceding section 19
shall have power to furnish refrigeration as well as heat.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 272.

AN ACT to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors or lager beer within one mile of white public school
number four in the fifth election district of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland.

License not
to be issued.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for the clerk of the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County to issue license to any
person or persons or body corporate to sell spirituous or
fermented liquors or lager beer nearer than one mile in all
directions from white public school number four in the fifth
election district of Anne Arundel county, Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and after the first day of May, nineteen hundred and
