and one of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
George's County," sub-title "State's Attorney," be and the
same are hereby repealed, and that section two hundred and
ninety-nine of said Article be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments, to read as follows, to wit:

CHAP. 216.

Repeal
and re-enact.

299. The State's Attorney for Prince George's county,
Maryland, shall receive for the year nineteen hundred and
two, and for each thereafter, a salary of fifteen hundred
dollars, to be annually levied and paid by the County Com-
missioners for said county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved April 8, 1902.

CHAPTER 217.
AN ACT to regulate the salary of the State's Attorney for
Harford County.

Salary,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State's Attorney of Harford county shall
receive an annual salary of fifteen hundred dollars, to be paid
him by the County Commissioners of said county, in quarterly
instalments from the first Monday in January, nineteen hun-
dred and two, the same to oe levied by the County Commis-
eioners for the use of the State's Attorney as aforesaid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 218.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Mutual Life Insurance
Company of Baltimore, as incorporated by chapter 276 of

the Acts of Assembly, passed at January session in the year
eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, chapter 33 of the Acts of
Assembly of eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter 152

of the Acts of Assembly of eighteen hundred and eighty-
eight, and chapter 408 of the Acts of Assembly of eighteen
hundred and ninety-eight.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That when any vacancy occurs in the board of
directors of the Mutual Life Insurance Company of Baltimore,
a corporation incorporated by chapter 276 of the Acts of
