CHAP. 24.

License to be
issued.

The person named therein or parties procuring such license
shall pay to said clerk therefor the sum of twenty dollars,
which amount shall be paid by said clerk to the Board of
School Commissioners of said county for the use of the public
schools, and fifty cents to the clerk as a fee for issuing such
license, and any non-resident convicted before a justice of the

committed to the county jail for ten days ; the one-half of all

that nothing in this section contained shall be taken to inter-
fere with the right of any non-resident without such license to
shoot said game upon the lands of any land owner in said
county who may have extended to said non-resident an
invitation in writing to shoot on such lands.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 25.
AN ACT to repeal Section 227 of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-title
"Roads," as amended by Chapter 113 of the Acts of 1890,
and to repeal Section 228 of said Article, and to re-enact
said Sections so as to read as follows :
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

annually to appoint for each of the election districts of said
county supervisors to such a number as not to give to each of
such supervisors so appointed an extent of road less than
fifteen or more than sixty miles, and each of said supervisors
shall be removable at the pleasure of said County Commis-
sioners.
Section 228. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of each road supervisor to cause all public roads under his
