CHAPTER 209.
AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for the sale of
spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer at the west
end of the bridge over Curtis Bay, in the Fifth Election
District of Anne Arundel County, or within one-quarter of
a mile in either direction of the west end of said bridge.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for the clerk of the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County to issue a license or
licenses to any person or persons or corporation to sell
spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer at the west end
of the bridge, over Curtis bay, in the Fifth Election District
of Anne Arundel county, or within one-quarter of a mile in
either direction of the west end of said bridge.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 211.
AN ACT to authorize and empower Joseph F. Adams to
construct in front of his property, in the town of Cam-
bridge, Dorchester county, a wharf or shell walk extending
out into the Great Choptank River.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Unlawful to
issue
license, etc.

Maryland, That Joseph F. Adams, of the town of Cam-
bridge, in Dorchester county, be and he is hereby authorized
and empowered to construct and erect a wharf or shell walk,
at and adjoining the land of the said Joseph F. Adams at, the
foot of Choptank avenue (on the northwestward side thereof),
in said town of Cambridge, said wharf or shell walk to extend
into the Great Choptank river for a distance, not exceeding
three hundred yards, to be of a width not greater than the
width of the said land of Joseph F. Adams, to be. immedi-
ately in front thereof, and to run and extend with the extended
lines of said land out into said river ; provided, said wharf or
shell walk shall be constructed and established on or before
the 1st day of January, 1907.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said wharf or shell walk,
when so constructed and erected, shall be the property of the
said Joseph F. Adams, his heirs and assigns, forever.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That; this. Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage...
