Section 22. And be it further enacted, That said body cor-
porate shall have the right to buy, sell, lease, mortgage and
otherwise deal in real estate.

Section 23. Andbe it further enacted, That said body corpo-
rate, in addition to the powers heretofore and herein granted
to it shall be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to
exercise and perform all of the rights and powers which it
now is and may hereafter be empowered to exercise in the
United States and in the several States, counties and munici-
palities of the United States, and in any province, territbry or
colony of said United States, and in any foreign country or
colony, territory or province of any foreign country, to estab-
lish branches and agencies in any such place or places.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 200.
AN ACT to provide for the issue of six hundred thousand-
dollars Maryland State bonds for the purpose of erecting
an addition to the State House, in the City of Annapolis,
for the removal and demolition of the State Library build-
ing and the annexes thereto, and for the purchase of a lot
of ground and the construction thereon of a plant for the,
heating of all the State buildings in Annapolis, and for
furnishing said State buildings, and for the completion of
the Fifth Regiment Armory, and the construction of an
Annex to the Maryland House of Correction ; said bonds to.
bear a rate of interest not higher than three and one-half
per cent, per annum, and to provide for a sinking fund for
the payment of said bonds.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
