CHAP 192.

Meeting shall

then the amendments contained in this Act shall immediately

C. Crothers, three of whom shall serve until the said nomina-
tion and election, three until the nomination and election in
January and February, 1904, and three until the nomination
and election in 1905, and they shall determine by lot at their
first meeting after the acceptance of this Act, the respective
terms of each, and the result of said determination shall forth-
with be entered upon their minutes.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 193.
AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Frederick
County to give to Railway Companies the right to use county
roads.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County ' Commissioners of Frederick
county are hereby authorized and empowered to grant to
electric railway companies the right and power to build their
lines of railway on and across public roade, subject to the con-
sent of the said County Commissioners of Frederick county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved, April 8, 1902.

CHAPTER 194.
AN ACT to repeal Section 17 B of Article 77 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title " Public Education," sub-title
" Superintendent of Public Education," and re-enact the
same with amendments.
