CH AP. 186.

115 G. The possession by any person of terrapin between
the first day of April and the first day of November shall
be conclusive evidence of the violation of this Article.

Evidence of
violation.

115 H. The sheriff, deputy sheriffs, constables, game wardens
and officers of the State Fishery Force shall, upon information
of any one, arrest any person or persons violating the pro-
visions of this article and take them before the nearest justice
of the peace having jurisdiction to be dealt with according to
the provisions of sections 115 A and 115 F.

115 I. It shall not be lawful for any but citizens and resi-
dents who have resided in Talbot county for twelve months to
take or catch crabs with scoops, scrapes or trot lines in the
tributaries of Great Choptank river lying solely in Talbot
county.

116. Any person violating the provisions of the preceding
section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, on
conviction thereof, be fined the sum of twenty-five dollars for
each and every offense and shall stand committed to the county
jail until fine and costs are paid.

Penalty
for violation.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall not be con-
strued so as to effect any prosecution for violation of this
Article or any section thereof for offenses committed prior to
the passage of this Act, and all Acts and parts of Acts incon-
sistent with this Act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 184.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
253 and 254 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County," sob-title "Oysters," as the
said Sections were repealed and re-enacted with amendment
by the Act of 1900, Chapter 693.

Repeal.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 253 and 254 of Article 10 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-
title "Oysters," as said sections were repealed and re-enacted
with amendments by the Act of 1900, chapter 693, be anc
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so
as to read as follows :
