CHAP. 20.

Tax to
be levied.

and Commissioners of the said town are authorized and
empowered and directed to levy such tax upon the taxable
property within the limits of the said town as may be neces-
sary to enable them, in connection with the revenues arising
from the said electric light plant and the additions thereto
herein provided for to pay said bonds and the interest thereon
and the operating expenses and necessary repairs to said works
in each year until all of said bonds shall be paid off. The
said taxes so collected shall be paid to the treasurer of the
said Board of Supervisors and the amo.unt levied for that
purpose shall be in addition to the amount now authorized by

law. The money arising for electric light rents shall be
applied first to the payment of the current expenses of said
works and plant; secondly, to the payment of the interest on
said bonds, and thirdly, as to any balance to provide a sinking
lund for the payment of such bonds when they become due,
and when any bond is paid off it shall be immediately burned
and the fact noted in the registration book hereinbefore
referred to.
SEC. 5. Be it enacted, That the title of the said supplemental

provided for, with all the lands, real estate, water, water rights
and franchises thereto appertaining and materials thereof shall
vest in the said Burgess and Commissioners of Williamsport
in their corporate capacity.
SEC. 6. Be it enacted, that this Act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

CHAPTER 21.
AN ACT to amend the Charter and extend the powers, and
to change the name of the Woodlawn Cemetery Company
of Baltimore County to the name of the "Woodlawn Ceme-
tery Company of Maryland," and to empower the Wood-
lawn Cemetery Company of Maryland to purchase, hold or
use for the purpose of burial four hundred (400) acres of
land in Baltimore county, and to perpetuate its Charter.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Woodlawn Cemetery Company of Balti-
more County, a corporation duly incorporated under Article
23 of the Public General Laws, in addition to the powers and
privileges contained in its certificate of incorporation, which
powers and privileges are hereby ratified and confirmed, shall
have the following additional powers.
