SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
and after the first day of May, nineteen hundred and two.

CHAPTER 166.
AN ACT to extend the privileges and amend the charter of
the Reisterstown Savings Bank of Baltimore County, Mary-
land, so as to enable it loan money on or purchase promissory
and negotiable notes, bills obligatory or other evidences of
debt.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the Reisterstown Savings Bank of Baltimore
County, Maryland, be and the same is hereby authorized and
empowered to loan money on or when it deems it desirable to
purchase promissory and negotiable notes, bills obligatory or
other evidences of debt.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the stockholders

of said bank shall be liable to the amount of their respective
share or shares of stock in said bank for all its debts and
liabilities upon note, bill or otherwise.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 167.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Harford County to levy annually a sum of
money for the relief of George T. Shannon and William
Nelson Morris, of said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Harford
county be and they are hereby authorized and empowered, in
their discretion, to levy and pay annually to George Thomas
Shannon and William Nelson Morris, of said county, a sum
of money not exceeding seventy-five dollars each.

AN ACT to refund to Ann C. Schindler, of Frederick County,
a sum of money erroneously paid by her into the State
Treasury.
