AN ACT to add a new Section to Article 27 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes and Pun-
ishments," sub-title "Destroying Property Maliciously," and
to be known as Section 59 o.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be added to Article 27 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes and
Punishments," sub-title "Destroying Property Maliciously,"
as enacted by chapter 400 of the Acts of session 1898, to be
known as section 59 C and to follow section 59 B, so as to read
as follows :

Section 59 e. Any person who shall wilfully or maliciously
take or remove the waste, packing or journal brass from any
journal box or boxes of any locomotive engine, tender, car-
riage, coach, caboose or truck used or operated upon any rail-
road, whether the same be operated by steam or electricity,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof
shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars or be
imprisoned for not more than three months, or, in the dis-
cretion of the Court, may be both fined and imprisoned, as
aforesaid.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendment Section 13
of Article 99 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Wild Fowls, Birds and Game," as repealed and re-enacted
by Chapter 206 of the Acts 1898, in so far as it applies to
Howard county.
