come in after section 55, and be known as section 55 A of said
Article 16

CHAP. 17.

Section 55 A. It shall not be lawful for any person not a
bona fide resident of said county to shoot any partridge,
pheasant, woodcock, wild turkey, wild duck, squirrel or rabbit
in said county without having first obtained from the clerk
of the Circuit Court for said county a license permitting the
person therein named to shoot said game in said county for
one year from the day on which such license was issued, and
such license shall not be transferable. The person named
therein or party procuring such license shall pay to said clerk
therefor the sum of $15 per year, which amount shall be paid
by said clerk to the Board of School Commissioners of said
county, for the use of the public schools of said county, and
fifty cents to the clerk as a fee for issuing such license ; and

any non-resident convicted before a justice of the peace of
said county for gunning therein without first having obtained
the license aforesaid shall be fined twenty-five dollars for each
and every such offense ; on failure to pay said tine and costs
the offender shall be committed to the county jail for twenty
days ; the one-half of all fines so imposed under this Act
shall be paid to the informer and the remainder to the Board
of County School Commissioners of said county for the use
of the public schools of said county.

hundred and forty-six of the Acts of Assembly for eighteen
hundred and ninety-two, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
