Congres-
sional
districts.

teenth, nineteenth and twentieth wards of Baltimore city and
the first, second, third and twelfth election precincts of the
eighteenth ward of Baltimore city, as said wards are numbered
by the Act of 1901, chapter 8, and shall be entitled to choose
one representative in the House of Representatives.
149. The Fifth Congressional District shall be composed of
the twenty-first, twenty-third and twenty-fourth wards of
Baltimore city and the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth
election precincts of the eighteenth ward of Baltimore city, as
said wards are numbered by the Act of 1901, chapter 8, and
of St. Mary's county, Charles county, Calvert county, Prince
George's county, Anne Arundel county and Howard county,
and shall be entitled to choose one representative in the House
of Representatives.

CHAPTER 137.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 265 and 271 of Article 22 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Washington County,"
as re-enacted by Chapter 625, passed by the General
Assembly at its January Session, 1900, and to re-enact the
same with amendments, and to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Sections 265 A, 265 B, 265 C, 265 D, 265 E, 265 F,
265 G, 265 H, 265 I and 265 J of said Article 22 as passed by
said Chapter 625 of the Acts of the General Assembly,
January Session, 1900.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 265 and 271 of Article 22 of the

Repeal and
re-enact.

Code of Public Local Laws, title "Washington County,"
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," as re-enaoted
by the General Assembly at its January Session, 1900, chapter
625, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, and that the ten sections added to said Article 22
by chapter 625, passed by the General Assembly at its January
Session, 1900, following immediately after section 265 and
designated as sections 265 A, 265 B, 265 C, 265 D, 265 E, 265 F,
265 G, 265 H, 265 I and 265 J, be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments.

Justices
of the peace
appointed.

Section 265. There shall be the following number of justices
of the peace and constables for Washington county, to be
appointed for the election districts of eaid county as follows :
No. 1, two justices of the peace and two constables ; No. 2,
three justices of the peace and two constables ; for Nos. 3, 17,
21, 22, 24 and 25, constituting the town of Hagerstown and
