CHAP. 93.
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, It has been unanimously recommended by the
State Board of Education that such sum of money should be
paid out of the State school fund to the Board of School Com-
missioners of Garrett county ; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
Apppropria-
tion.
|
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he
is hereby authorized and required to draw his warrant upon
the Treasurer in favor of Garrett County School Board for the
sum of four thousand dollars per annum, for two years, out of
the proceeds of the State school tax before making apportion-
ment thereof ; provided, however, that no portion of said four-
thousand dollars per annum shall be used for any other pur-
pose than for salaries and ordinary running expenses of said
schools.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 94.
AN ACT assenting to the bequest of Rebecca Woolsey, for
the benefit of the public roads of Harford County; and
authorizing the County Commissioners of said county to
accept the same and carry them into effect.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Assent given.

Maryland, That assent is hereby given to the bequest of
Rebecca Woolsey, late of Harford county, deceased, in favor
of the public roads of said county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-

missioners of Harford county be and they are hereby author-
ized and empowered in their discretion to accept the pro-
visions of the last will and testament of said Rebecca
Woolsey, in favor of the public roads of said county, and to
take such steps as they may deem necessary and proper toward
carrying the same into effect.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 95.
AN ACT to grant and declare the sanction and consent of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the deed and con-
veyance by William M. Terrell and Laura J. Terrell, his
wife, to the Trustees of Warner Memorial Presbyterian
