SEC. 2. And le it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 74.
AN ACT to prohibit the laying of railway tracks upon a
portion of Eager street, in the city of Baltimore, without
the consent of the General Assembly.

lay tracks.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for any person or corporation
to lay any railway tracks upon Eager street, between Park and
Wolf streets, without the consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland; provided, that this act shall not restrict in any way
the right of any passenger railway now incorporated, or that
may hereafter be incorporated, to" cross said street, where such
railway company shall be authorized by the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to use any street or avenue opening into
said street.

CHAPTER 75.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Sections
139 and 143 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title " Carroll County," sub-title " Roads," as enacted by
Chapter 164 of the Acts of 1892.

Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 139 and 143 of Article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title " Carroll County," sub-title " Roads,"
as enacted by Chapter 164 of the acts of 1892, be and they
are repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows :
