SEC. 12. Nothing in this article shall be so construed as to
interfere with the rights and privileges of resident physicians
and surgeons, or with persons holding certificates duly issued
to them prior to the passage of this act; and dental students
operating under the immediate supervisions of their instructors
in dental infirmaries or dental schools chartered by the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act shall
prevent, or be so construed, as in any way to hinder the prose-
cution, conviction or punishment of any person who may have
offended against any of the provisions of said Article thirty-
two of the Code of Public General Laws, or against any of
the provisions of any of the Acts of Assembly of which the
same was a codification.

Effective.

SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 379.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Cambridge and Chesa-
peake Railroad Company, a corporation of the State of
Maryland, formed under Article 23, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title "Railroad Com-
panies," so that the route or line of said railroad may be
extended from Cambridge to Fox creek in Dorchester
county, instead of from Cambridge to Golden Hill therein.

WHEREAS, The Cambridge and Chesapeake Railroad Com"
pany was incorporated on the fifteenth day of June, eighteen
hundred and ninety-two, under the provisions of Article 23, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-
title "Railroad Companies; " and

WHEREAS, The charter or certificate of incorporation was
duly filed in the office of Secretary of State, and is now
of record among the railroad incorporation records in said
office; and
