for the rent of the boxes in some safe deposit company, for
the use of the treasury department, one hundred dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary; for insurance and rent of
instantaneous fire alarm boxes in State tobacco warehouses,
five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ;
for insuiance and rent of instantaneous fire alarm boxes in
State Normal School, three hundred dollars, or so much there-
of as may be necessary; for insurance on public buildings of
the State and the personal property belonging thereto, five
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

COMMISSIONERS OF FISHERIES.

sioners of
fisheries.

For the salaries of the two commissioners of fisheries, fif-
teen hundred dollars each, three thousand dollars; and t«
defray the expenses of the commissioners of fisheries, as per
section eighty-nine of Article thirty-nine of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, title " Fish and Fisheries," sub-title " Com-
missioners of Fisheries," seventy-five hundred dollars, or so
much thereof as, in the opinion of the Governor, may be neces-
sary; no part of the said appropriation to be expended in the
killing of eels in the Wicomico river or in other waters of the
State of Maryland; and the said commissioners of fisheries are
hereby directed and required to make a detailed report to the
Governor, at the end of each fiscal year, of the expenditures
of said funds with the vouchers therefor attached.

REFORMATORY AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS.

To the Maryland House of Correction, for the support of
the institution, twenty-five thousand dollars; to the House of
Refuge, fifteen thousand dollars; to the Female House of
Refuge, six thousand dollars; to the House of Reformation
and Instruction for Colored Children, ten thousand dollars; to
the managers of the Maryland Hospital for the Insane, for the
support of the institution, thirty-five thousand dollars; and
the further sum of twenty-nine thousand dollars to meet the
deficiency for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-six ;
to the Deaf and Dumb Asylum at Frederick, for the educa-
tion of the deaf and dumb, thirty thousand dollars; to the
Maryland School for the Blind, for the education of the deaf
and dumb and blind colored children of the State, eight thous-
and dollars; to the Second Hospital for the Insane of the
State of Maryland, the sum of 'ten thousand dollars; to the
Maryland Asylum and Training School for Feeble Minded,
