the tax books of the said town for the purpose of determining
the qualifications of any voter whose right to vote is disputed,
and it shall be the duty of said clerk, as soon as may be after
the returns are made, to inform the commissioners so elected,
and administer to them, separately, the following oath or affir-

mation: "I ———— , make oath (or affirmation) on the Holy
Evangely of Almighty God, that I will faithfully and impar-
tially discharge the duties of Commissioner of Bel Air, to the
best of my ability, so help me God ;" which shall be within
the test book for other officers in the custody of the said clerk,
and signed by said commissioners, which said oaths and sign-
ing shall be deemed their qualifications.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 360.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Maryland Traction
Company, a corporation formed under Article twenty-three,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporations,"
sub-title ''Railroad Companies," by changing the name
thereof to the Falls Road Electric Railway Company, and to
give certain additional powers thereto.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the name of the Maryland Traction Company, a
corporation formed under the provisions of Article twenty-
three of the Code of Public General Laws of the State of
Maryland, title "Corporations," sub- title "Rail road Companies,"
be and the same is hereby changed to that of the Falls Road
Electric Railway Company, and that in addition to the powers
possessed by it under its certificate of incorporation, as pre-
scribed by the said article of the Code of Public General
Laws, the said corporation shall have the further powers fol-
lowing, to wit :

The said Falls Road Electric Railway Company shall have
power to lay down, construct, maintain and operate a single or
double track railway, with the necessary switches and turnouts
upon the streets and public ways of Baltimore city and Balti-
more county, from such point in the city of Baltimore, and
