or incorporated or joint stock company, to guarantee the pay-
ment of rents, ground-rents, interest, coupons and income or
every kind arising from property of every description wherever
situate, to guarantee the validity of title to real, leasehold or
chattel property and to guarantee the payment of credit or any
part thereof, given or extended, or to be given or extended to
any person or persons, firm, corporation or joint stock company.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the said body
corporate shall have the right to recefre money on deposit,
evidences of debt for collection, chattels, stocks, bonds and all
paper writings on storage, upon such terms as may be agreed
upon.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That said body corporate
shall have the right at any time to increase its capital stock to
fifty thousand shares of the par value of one hundred dollars
each, provided the holders of two-thirds of the stock then
issued vote in favor of such increase.

SEC. 7 A. That said corporation shall be subject to the Act of
1892, chapter 279, and chapter 109.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 358.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
141 and 157 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Allegany County," sub-title " Frostburg." as said sec-
tions were amended and re-enacted by Chapter 604 of the
Acts of 1894, and to add two new sections to Article 1 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County,"
sub title " Frostburg," to follow immediately after Section
163 of the aforementioned Article, and to be designated as
Sections 163 A, 163 B.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 141 and 157 of Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County," sub-
title " Frostburg," as said sections were amended and re enacted
by chapter 604 of the Acts of 1894, be, and the same are hereby
