SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the School Board of Calvert
County shall build the school house whenever the levy is made,
at or near Prince Fredericktown.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 340.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter
four hundred and three of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1892, entitled " An Act to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Sections one hundred and twentyr
five and one hundred and twenty-six of Article two of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title ' Anne Arundel County,'
sub-title ' County Commissioners.' "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

ments, sections one hundred and twenty-five and one hundred
and twenty-six of Article two of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title ' Anne Arundel County,' sub-title
' County Commisioners,' " be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

Repeal.

125. They are authorized and empowered, whenever it shall
seem to them expedient for the encouragement of the growth
and development of manufactures and manufacturing indus-
try in said county, upon the application as hereinafter pro-
vided, of any individual, firm or corporation actually engaged
in the business of manufacturing in said county, to abate all
taxes for any year which may hereafter be levied for county
or school purposes by authority of said County Commissioners
upon any mechanical tools or implements, whether worked by
hand or steam, or other motive power, or upon the machinery,
manufacturing apparatus or engines owned by such industrial
firm or corporation, and actually employed and used in the
business of manufacturing in said county, and which would be
properly subject to valuation and taxation therein; provided,
such abatement of taxes in any year shall be extended to all
persons, firms and corporations engaged in said county in the
branch or branches of manufacturing industry proposed to be
