to order whatever balance of said fund may then remain un-
claimed to be paid to the Boai d of School Commissioners of
said county for the use of its public schools, on condition, how-
ever, that whenever any legal representative of any of said
parties shall appear and show title thereto, said board shall pay
to him the amount audited to the party under whom he claims,
and on such further terms or conditions as to said court may
seem right.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 306.

AN ACT to release the estate of the late Augustus C. Rhodes,
and the surety or sureties on the bond of said Augustus C.
Rhodes, as Clerk of the Circuit Court for Howard County,
from the payment to the Treasurer of the State of Maryland,
of the sum of one hundred dollars, or any part thereof, as
tax on the commission of said Augustus C. Rhodes as Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Howard County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
