CHAPTER 4T.

AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Harford
County to provide for the support of Otho S. Bennington in
the sum of one hundred dollars per annum, and to make
levy therefor.

WHEREAS, Otho S. Bennington has been a confirmed epi-
leptic for many years and totally helpless; and,

Preamble.

WHEREAS, The said Otho S. Bennington is a resident of
Harford county; and,

Preamble.

WHEREAS, The said Otho S. Bennington has no means of
support; and,

Preamble.

WHEREAS, Elizabeth Bennington can and will support the
eaid Otho S. Bennington for the sum of one hundred dollars
per annum; therefore,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That authority be granted to the County Commissioners
of Harford county to provide for the support of Otho S. Ben-
nington in a sum not to exceed one hundred dollars, and to
make levy therefor.

Belief to O. S.
Bennington.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved March 19th, 1896.

CHAPTER 48.

AN ACT to amend an Act entitled "An Act to incorporate
the Town of Mount Airy in Carroll and Frederick Coun-
ties," passed at the January session, eighteen hundred and
ninety-four, being Chapter ninety-one of the Acts of said
session.

Effective.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the members of the Council of Mount Airy shall
biennially appoint a register for said town, and assign his duties
by ordinance and allow him such compensation as they may
prescribe, and all ordinances passed by the said council anc
signed by the Mayor shall be entered by the register in a book
to be kept by him for that purpose, which shall be open at all
times for public inspection, and copies of all ordinances signed
