LAWS OF MARYLAND.
Assembly of eighteen hundred and ninety-four, be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows,
viz:
9. It shall not be lawful for any person to kill or destroy in
said county, any woodcock or partridge, between the first day

of December and the first day of October in each year; or to
kill or destroy, in any manner, any pheasant, between the date
of the passage of this act and the first day of October, in the
year eighteen hundred and ninety-seven; and from and after
the first day of October, in said year eighteen hundred and
ninety-seven, it shall be unlawful for any person to kill, or
destroy, or try to kill or destroy, any pheasant in said county,
except during the months of October and November, in each
year; and it shall be unlawful to snare or entrap any woodcock,
partridge or pheasant at any season of the year whatsoever.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 46.
AN ACT to give authority to the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore to permit the Baltimore Centennial Association to
use Clifton Park for the purpose of an exposition, and also
ratifying the ordinance passed by the City Council and
approved by the Mayor of Baltimore City on the second day
of April, 1895.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
City are hereby given full authority and permission to grant
to the Baltimore Centennial Association, Clifton Park, to be
nsed by said association for the purpose of an exposition, and
the Ordinance No. 27 passed by the City Council and approved
by the Mayor on the 2nd day of April, 1895, is hereby fully
ratified and confirmed as if full and complete authority had
been given to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to
pass the same prior to its enactment.
