Destroying
wearing
apparel.
|
251 A. If any person shall maliciously cut, disfigure, muti-
late, damage, destroy, or otherwise injure any goods, wares,
materials or merchandise intended to be manufactured, made
up or converted into garments, wearing apparel or other articles
of merchandise, and belonging to any other person, or shall
maliciously cut, disfigure or otherwise injure any garments,
wearing apparel or other articles of merchandise belonging
to any other person, or shall cause the same to be done, »r
shall by any means cause or incite any person to do the same,
upon conviction thereof, before any tribunal of competent
jurisdiction, he shall be fined not more than fifty dollars, or be
sentenced to imprisonment in the House of Correction for not
more than six months, or both fined and imprisoned in the dis-
cretion of the court.

Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 271.
AN ACT to amend and re-enact the charter of the Baltimore
and Drum Point Railroad Company, and to change the name
of said corporation to the Baltimore and Southern Railroad
Company.

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, The Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Com-
pany, incorporated under the provisions of sections 187 to. 193,
inclusive, of Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws,
by certificate of incorporation dated the 23d day of March,
1892. filed in the office of the Secretary of State on the 6th
day of April, 1892, and recorded in the said office, in Record
Book of Incorporations, folios 326, 327, 328 and 329, and by
supplemental certificate of incorporation dated the 28th day of
July, 1893, tiled in the office of the Secretary of State on the
16th day of August, 1893, and recorded in the said office, in
Record Book of Incorporations, No. 2, folios 25, 26, 27 and 28,
is possessed of all the powers, rights, immunities, privileges
and franchises of the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Com-
pany, incorporated by chapter 364 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland; passed at the session of 1868; and
