Biddle.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County School Commissioners of
Cecil county be and they are hereby authorized and empow-
ered to grant unto Martha Biddle, of said county, for life, a
sum of money, as an allowance, not exceeding ten dollars per
month.

SEC. 2. And lie it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 251.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claim of
Win. J. C. Dulany Company for stationery furnished the
State library, Court of Appeals, Executive Department and
Legislative Department of the State of Maryland, from
January 10, 1896, to March 17, 1896, inclusive.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby directed
to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer in favor of William
J. C. Dulany Company, for the sum of fourteen hundred and
fifteen and twenty-nine one hundredth dollars, ($1,415.29,) for
stationery furnished the State library, Court of Appeals, Execu-
tive Department and Legislative Department of the State of
Maryland, from January 10, 1896, to March 1Y, 1896.

AN ACT to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors or lager beer within half a mile of the Junction of
Gittings Avenue and Belona Avenue in Baltimore County.
