able lot, and erect a school house thereon for Colored children,
at or near Johnstown, in the First election district of Cecil
county, Maryland. Said lot and house to cost a sum not
exceeding seven hundred dollars, and to be ready for occupancy
by the first day of September 1896.

CHAPTER 227.
AN ACT to create a new precinct in Strait's or Tenth election
district of Dorchester county, to be known as the Second or
Holland's Island precinct.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new precinct be, and is hereby created in Strait's

or Tenth election district of Dorchester, to be known as the
" Second or Holland's Island precinct," and that it shall consist
of all that part of said Tenth election district lying south of
Hooper's Straits of said county, the precinct hereby created being
the extreme southern part of the present Strait's district, and the
voting place for said second or Holland's Island precinct, shall
be at Holland's Island. The County Commissioners and elec-
tion supervisors of Dorchester county are hereby directed to
make all necessary provisions for voting in said precinct, as
they are now required by law for other polling places in said
county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the deed from the Trustees of the
German Lutheran Presbyterian Church of Baltimore County,
to Charles W. Lantz.
