cheese or other articles manufactured or produced thereon for
market.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That it shall be within

the power of the stockholders and of the board of directors
to make a rule for the regulation of the market, by which the
board of directors may, in their discretion, for any violation
of the rules and regulations of the market, declare any stall
forfeited at the end of the term for which it may have been
let, or the occupant may be removed forthwith without notice
by refunding the proportion of the rent for the balance of the
current term.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 222.
AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for the sale of
spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer at Jacksonville,
Baltimore county, or at any place within said Baltimore
county, within one mile and a-half of Jacksonville.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That hereafter, it shall not be lawful for the clerk of the
Circuit Court for Baltimore county to issue license to any per-
son or persons to sell spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
beer at Jacksonville, Baltimore county, or at any place in said
county nearer than one mile and a-half in every direction from
the toll-gate within the town of Jacksonville.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 223.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Baltimore County,"
sub-title " Nuisances," to be known as section 170 A.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be, and the same is hereby added to
