CHAPTER 209.
AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Calvert
county, to levy a sum of money for the building of an
additional room to School House Number Three for Col-
ored Children, near Mutual Post-Office, in Election District
Number One, Precinct Number Two, in Calvert county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Calvert county, be
and they are hereby empowered and directed, in their discre-
tion, to levy a sum of money for the building of an additional
room to school house number three for colored children,
near Mutual post-office, in election district number one,
precinct number two, in Calvert county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said additional school room
be erected under the supervision and control of the School
Commissioners of said county.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 210.
AN ACT to authorize the Governor to appoint an additional
Justice of the Peace in the First Election District of Cecil
county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Governor be and he is hereby authorized and
empowered to appoint an additional justice of the peace in and
for the First Election District of Cecil county, in addition to
those now required to be appointed by existing laws.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
