ARTICLE VIII.

Bond and
duties of
treasurer.
|
The treasurer shall give such security for the faithful per-
formance of the trust reposed in him, as the board of managers
may demand and approve. He shall take in charge all funds
belonging to the association, keep an account of all receipts and
expenditures, and all duly authorized drafts. At the annual
meeting he shall render a particular and correct statement of
all his receipts and disbursements to the association, to the first
day of October, inclusive, which shall be examined by a com-
mittee to be appointed by the president.

Repeal.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Article ten of said consti-
tution, as contained in said act, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, as follows :

Board of
managers.
|
The board of managers shall have exclusive control of the
funds of the association, and shall apply them in such manner
as they shall deem best calculated to accomplish its benevolent
purposes; they shall have authority to make all necessary by-
laws, and, from time to time, to alter or amend them; to fill
all vacancies, appoint all committees, and generally to adopt
such measures as the object of the institution may require.
Its stated meetings shall be held on the fourth Tuesday of
September, October, November, February and March. Special
meetings of the board may be called by the secretary, at
the request of the president, or any three members of the
board.

CHAPTER 155.
AN ACT to add an additional Section to Article eleven of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Frederick County,"
sub-title "Jurors," to come in after Section 288, and to be
known as Section 288 A., relating to the method of drawing
Jurors in "Frederick County," and repealing all laws in con-
flict therewith.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That an additional section be added to article eleven of
