CHAPTER 25.
AN ACT to give and grant the sanction and consent of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest contained in
the will of Mrs. Ann Claggett, late of Frederick county,
deceased, to the Vestry of St. Mark's Parish, Frederick
county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the bequest of four thousand dollars made to the:
vestry of St. Mark's Parish in Frederick county by the last
will and codicil thereto of Ann Claggett, late of said county,
deceased, be and the same is hereby sanctioned, confirmed and
made valid, and the said vestry be and they are hereby author-
ized and empowered to take and receive said legacy and apply
the same according to the provisions of said will and codicil
thereto.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 26.
AN ACT to repeal Section two and Section three of Chapter
five hundred and fifty-three, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of eighteen hundred and ninety two, entitled "an
Act to fix, limit and determine the term of office of the
County Commissioners of Queen Anne's county, elected on
Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, eighteen
hundred and ninety-one, in pursuance of Section one of
Article seven of the Constitution of the State, and of such
Commissioners as shall be elected or appointed hereafter,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments and to add an
additional Section thereto.
