1828

A resolution for the sus pension of proceedings , on certain judg-
ments obtained by the state of Maryland, against Charles
Jones , a former sheriff and collector of Somerset county, and
his securities

Proceeding sus-
pended

Resolved, That all proceedings on the judgments obtained
by the state of Maryland, against Charles Jones, late sheriff
and collector of Somerset county, and his securities, be, and
the same are hereby suspended, until the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and thirty: Provided, That nothing herein
contained shall be construed to release the right of the state
to any property, real or personal, which has already been ta-
ken in execution of the said Charles Jones, or any of his se-
curities.

1828

A resolution for compensating Jams Green, William M'Neir
and Jeremiah Hughes, respectively, for additional printing
since the closing of the journal of accounts.

Payment directed

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Jonas Green, the sum of forty dollars and four cents; to Wil-
liam M'Neir the sum of fifteen dollars; and to Jeremiah
Hughes the sum of seven dollars and eighty cents, for addi-
tional printing since the closing of the journal of accounts,
out of any unappropriated money in the treasury.

A resolution suspending proceedings an certain judgments ob-
tained by the state of Maryland against the securities of
William S. Handy , a former sheriff and collector of Somerset

county

pended

Resolved, That all proceedings on the judgments obtained
by the state of Maryland against Richard Waller, Josiah
Broughtort, and Lemuel "Heath, deceased, securities of Wil-
liam S. Handy, late sheriff and collector of Somerset county,
be, and "the same are hereby suspended until the first day of
January , eighteen hundred and thirty: Provided, That nothing
herein contained shall be construed to release the right of the
state to any property, real or personal, which has already been
taken in execution of the said William S. Handy, or any of
his said securities.
