A resolution in favor of the administrator and the securities of
Francis Gij/espie, late sheriff of Cecil county.

Re&Qfoed by the General Assembly of Mary land, . That the
attorney for and on behalf of the state of Maryland in Cecil
county, be, and he is hereby authorised and required to stay
any further proceedings on the judgments which have been
obtained in th« county court of s^id county, against the ad-
ministrator and the securities of Frartds Gillespie, late sheriff
of said county, or against the executors or administrators of
any or either of the securities of the said Francis Giflespie,
until the first day of March which shall be in the year eigh-

teen hundred and thirty: Provided^ That any and all of said
judgments upon which proceedings shall be stayed as afore-
said, shall continue and remain in full force, and executions
may be issued thereon at any time after the expiration of such
stay.

A resolution in favor of Washington Halt, of Cecil county,

Resolved, That the lands and tenements lying in Cecil
counts, and state of Maryland, purchased by Washington
Mall, under an execution issued by Cecil county court, for the
satisfaction of two judgments obtained therein against Samuel
C. Hall, at the suit of William M'Cleary and Levin Weth-
ered, be, and they are hereby released, acquitted, and expne-
rated from all liability in law or equity, to pay and satisfy two
judgments rendered in said county court, against said Samuel
C, Hall, at the suit of the state of Maryland (the one on the
seventh of September, eighteen hundred and fifteen, and the
other on the ninth of September, eighteen hundred and six-
teen ) and all claim of this state against the said lands and pre-
mises, be, and the same is hereby relinquished and transferred
to said Washington Hall, an 1 the state's attorney for Cecil

county is hereby directed and required, to dismiss all suit or £
suits, action or actions which may have been commenced at
the instance of the state against saicl Washington Hall, of and
concerning the said lands and premises; each party to pay their
own costs.
