SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That nothing contained in this
act shall be construed or taken, to authorise the said cona-
finissioners to alter or change the limits or boundaries of the
districts in said county, heretofore numbered, one, two, and
four, or to change the place of holding the elections in said
districts.

SEC 6, And be it enacted, That the levy court of Queen-
Anne's county, shall appoint three persons in each election
district in said county, residents therein, who, or such of them
as shall attend, shall be the judge or judges of the election,
for the districts for which he or they shall be appointed as
aforesaid; and the judges so appointed, shall have, hold and
exercise the same powers and authority, and shall be subject
to the same penalties as the judges of the elections in this
state now are.

SEC. 7. And bt it enacted, That all laws now in force, in
regard to the time, manner and more of conducting and re-
gulating elections in the several counties of this state, shall be,
and they are hereby declared to be in full force in Queen-
Anne's county.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted. That such provisions of any
former law or laws, as are inconsistent with, or repugnant to
this act, be, and the same are hereby repealed.

A supplement to the act, entitled, "An act for the opening oj
Ensor street in the city of Baltimore?

Passed January 29,
1828.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Henry Thompson, George Decker, John Ogston,
William Frick, and John B. Morris, be, and they are hereby
appointed commissioners, in lieu of the persons named in the
act to which this is a supplement; and they, or a majority of
them, are hereby authorised to exercise all the powers and
perform all the duties which the commissioners named in the
said act were thereby authorised and required to do, and
each of the said commissioners may at any time within sixty-
days after the passage of this act, take the oath or affirmation
required by the seventh section of the act to which this is a
supplement, and the said commissioners shall have power to
employ a clerk, surveyor, and such other agents and servants
as they may deem necessary in the exercise of their povvers
and performance of their duties aforesaid, and allow them
such compensation as the commissioners shall deem reasona-
ble, and assess the same as part of the expenses of opening
