It is gratifying to report that for another year changes in personnel
were at a minimum. Miss Frances W. Hoot, who was employed as steno-
grapher-Secretary July 1, 1949, resigned July 15, 1951, in anticipation of
her marriage which occurred some months later. Her place was taken by
Mrs. Dorothy B. Cullinane who became a permanent member of the staff
September 16, 1951. Mrs. Martha Scisco, who had been a member of the
maintenance staff since the summer of 1935, died November 6, 1951.
Mrs. Scisco was the last employee who was present when the Hall of
Records opened in October 1935. She was replaced by Cora Olney.
