PHOTOCOPYING

Photocopying of our own records continued this year at a little
above the rate of last year. Receipts were $178,50 compared with the
previous year's $173.00,

Our long-term program of photostating county records used our
equipment to its maximum capacity for the second year in succession.
Several of the series listed below are now complete, others only begun.
The choice of materials to be copied is at present restricted to those
counties which are willing to accept photocopies in return for the
originals and which are able and willing to pay for this work. An effort
is now being made to procure a special appropriation for such copies
so that counties which have old records but slim purses may take ad-
vantage of our photocopying facilities.
