SIXTH ANNUAL REPORT OF THE
in frequent use in need of repair. The photoduplication department
has begun to place in the county courthouse copies of the Land
Records which have been removed to the Hall of Records and it has
expanded its services to include mierophotography.
The Archivist is only in small part responsible for the great
amount and the uniform excellence of the work of the past year. He
has been assisted by the sympathetic understanding of all of the
members of the Hall of Records Commission and by the positive
collaboration of some of them. The Archivist has only given direction
to the work of the professional staff, the labor has been theirs.
Moreover, in addition to his regular staff, he has had the loyal and
fruitful cooperation of the Work Projects Administration and the
National Youth Administration workers without whose presence
none of the large labors of unfolding and arranging and indexing
could have been attempted.
Respectfully submitted,
MORRIS L. RADOFF,
Archivist.
Hall of Records,
Annapolis, Maryland.
