20 SIXTH ANNUAL REPORT OF THE

ment for the use of Governor Herbert K. O'Conor; the signatures
of the Colonial Governors are now being prepared, and the whole
collection will then be mounted and hung in the Governor's office.

BINDING

The members of the Commission will recall that prior to 1939-
1940 only a very few volumes in the Hall of Records collection had
been bound; it had been thought unwise to risk the materials out
of the building. Last year binding equipment was bought for the
Hall and some fine binding was done in the repair department by
Mrs. Krebs. At the same time all other binding work was sent
under proper safeguards to Baltimore. This program was continued
for another year and has proved to be satisfactory. The following
materials were bound in the repair room:

Army Journal, No, 1

Proprietary Records, Liber Z. This volume was bound and silked at

the Hall of Records, the work was paid for by the Daughters of

the Barons of Runnemede as a memorial to Mrs. Robert G.

Hogan, Founder and First President and Mrs. William Talbott

one of the organizers.
Young-FIowers-Pickersgill Family Bible bound and silked for the

Flag House, Baltimore.

The following silked or photostated volumes were bound by
commercial binders in Baltimore:
