MARYLAND IMPRINTS INTRODUCTION
In Worcester, Mr. Clarence S. Brlgham and his
staff were generous with time, energy and suggestions,
as they invariably are toward any bibliographical enter-
prise.
Special thanks are due to Mr. Rollo G. Silver, who
first proposed the project, and to Mr. Lloyd A. Brown of
the Peabody Institute Library, who has offered consist-
ent encouragement.
Imperfection and incompleteness are the lot of any
work of this sort. I shall be grateful to all those who
can point out corrections or who can supply imprints not
included in the pages which follow.
