advertisement in the Telegraph tsic] and daily
advertiser, April 2, 1878, which reads: 'Just pub-
lished, / The New England primer, / improved and
arranged, as the first book for children, by Henry
S. Keatinge. No. 158, Baltimore street. / This
primer is printed on a large new type, and n. beauti-
ful strong paper. Booksellers and merchants in the
country, may be supplied with any quantity, bound
or in quires, as he has printed a large number, and
intends keeping the form standing for some time.'"
